Certified Coding Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coding Specialist to provide coding services for Professional Fee specialties.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM coding for Family Medicine and Internal Medicine
• Calculate ProFee E/M levels and recognize critical care cases
• Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and maintain accuracy in code assignment

Required Qualifications

• Certification through AAPC (CPC or COC) or AHIMA (CCS or CCS-P)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in coding Professional Fee for Family Medicine and/or Internal Medicine
• Familiarity with EMR and billing systems, with EPIC experience preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft programs such as Excel, Outlook, and Teams
• Ability to maintain a productivity level and accuracy rate of 95% or higher
