Certified Coding Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coding and Compliance Specialist, Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide support, education, and training to providers and coders regarding revenue optimization and coding standards
• Conduct compliance audits for designated provider/coder centers following established protocols
• Coordinate training plans and sessions based on audit results and trends in coding and service levels

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
• CPC or CCS-P coding certification is required
• Five years of progressive experience in healthcare billing, coding, and auditing
• Familiarity with state-specific workers' compensation regulations
• Basic computer skills in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
