Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3 years of relevant work experience
• Certifications such as Certified Coding Associate or Certified Coding Specialist from recognized organizations
• Understanding of compliance regulations and medical terminology
• Intermediate knowledge in medical coding and critical thinking
