Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coding Documentation Liaison.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct Quality Assurance Checks and provide education to providers and coding staff
• Analyze clinical documentation to verify appropriate coding and identify compliance risks
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve documentation quality and resolve discrepancies

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree in Health Information Management (HIM) or equivalent coding experience
• Five years of relevant coding experience
• Certification in coding (RHIT, RHIA, CCS, CPC, CCS-P, CPC-H)
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft-based software and expert knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding guidelines
• Proficiency with electronic health record systems
