Job Summary

A company is looking for a Provider Coding Specialist to analyze and assign medical codes for surgical patient accounts.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze medical records and assign appropriate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes
• Resolve coding edits, denials, and ensure accurate claim submissions
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to clarify documentation and improve coding practices

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma required
• 2+ years of abstract coding for physician services required
• Minimum of four years of healthcare experience, including three years in professional coding for Orthopedics or OB/GYN required
• Licensure or certification from AHIMA required
• Experience working remotely preferred
