Job Summary

A company is looking for a DRG (Coding) Reviewer/Auditor.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and review inpatient claims for coding accuracy and proper DRG assignment
• Perform comprehensive initial reviews as per standard operating procedures
• Collaborate with physician reviewers and manage workload independently

Required Qualifications

• Coding Certification (CCS, CIC, or RHIT) required
• Completion of college-level courses in medical terminology, anatomy, and medical coding
• At least 3 years of experience in MS-DRG and APR-DRG validation in acute care inpatient coding
• Knowledge of Official Coding and Reporting guidelines and regulatory compliance
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
