Certified Coding Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Solution Technical Expert, Revenue Integrity Coding & Billing.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide enterprise-level expertise in coding, charge capture, billing, denial management, and revenue integrity analytics
• Analyze and resolve complex claim edits and billing discrepancies within MHS GENESIS and related systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop coding and billing standards and deliver executive-level reporting

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a clinical, healthcare, business, or related field, or an Associate's degree with additional revenue cycle experience
• Active coding certification from AHIMA or AAPC (e.g., CCS, CPC)
• Five or more years of experience in medical coding and billing, including revenue integrity and denial management
• Expert knowledge of coding guidelines, modifiers, and payer edit logic
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience in data analysis and executive presentations
