Key Responsibilities

• Assign appropriate diagnosis and procedure codes based on medical documentation
• Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and regulations from relevant bodies
• Analyze medical records to extract information for accurate coding

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required
• Certified Professional Coder - American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) required
• 3-5 years of medical coding experience required
• EPIC experience preferred
• In-depth knowledge of medical coding systems including ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS
