Certified Coding Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coding Claim Review Specialist (Inpatient and Outpatient).

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing claim audits and reviewing coding, revenue cycle, and billing changes for outpatient and Profee claims
• Audit claims for accuracy, including charges, coding compliance, and adherence to CMS and payer guidelines
• Develop reports, participate in client presentations, and maintain knowledge of outpatient hospital reimbursement processes

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of directly related experience
• Expert knowledge in revenue cycle and outpatient coding
• CCS, COC, or CPC certification required
• Strong understanding of revenue cycle and CMS guidelines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and OneNote
