Job Summary

A company is looking for an IP Rehab Coding Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

Assigns ICD-10-CM and PCS codes for inpatient visits and EM levels and surgical CPT codes for physician visits
Validates MS-DRG or APC assignments and abstracts clinical data appropriately
Mitigates coding-related claims scrubber edits and participates in client meetings and training sessions

Required Qualifications

Active AHIMA or AAPC credential
One year of relevant coding experience within the last six months
Passing score of 80% on specific pre-employment tests
Cerner experience
