Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coding and Billing Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day encounter coding for services, procedures, diagnoses, and treatments
• Prepare and submit claims for payment and maintain Accounts Receivable (A/R) for revenue cycle management
• Educate team members on proper code selection, documentation, and procedures

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a medical billing and coding specialist
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) certification required
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM and CPT coding guidelines
• Proficiency in medical terminology and expertise in Medicare reimbursement guidelines
