Job Summary

A company is looking for an Inpatient DRG Validator and Coding Analyst.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct inpatient coding reviews and validate ICD-10-CM and PCS codes for accuracy and completeness
• Review physician documentation for quality and identify opportunities for improvement
• Collaborate with team members and consult with client organizations to enhance service line growth and operational efficiency

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years' experience with Coding IP Claims
• CCS (Certified Coding Specialist) credential required
• Experience with Medicare and Medicaid DRGs and DRG Validator
• Bachelor of Science degree in a related field or an Associate's in Health Information Technology
• Knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS and proficiency in EHR applications
