Job Summary

Seeking a remote Senior Solution Technical Expert in Revenue Integrity Coding & Billing, this full-time position requires a Certified Coding Specialist to provide enterprise-level expertise in coding, charge capture, billing, and revenue integrity analytics across the Military Health System.

Key responsibilities:

• Serve as a subject matter expert in coding, billing, and revenue integrity for various service lines, ensuring compliance and accuracy
• Analyze and resolve complex claim edits and billing issues, while pulling and interpreting revenue cycle data for risk identification
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop coding and billing standards, and deliver executive-level reporting on financial exposure and remediation outcomes

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a clinical, healthcare, business, or related field, or an Associate's degree with five years of revenue cycle experience
• Active coding certification from AHIMA or AAPC (e.g., CCS, CPC)
• Five or more years of progressive medical coding and billing experience, with a focus on revenue integrity and denial management
• Expert knowledge of coding guidelines and payer edit logic, including ICD 10 CM, CPT, and HCPCS
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and experience in developing executive presentations
