Job Summary
Reviewing hospital medical records and assigning relevant ICD-10-CM diagnoses, the full-time Certified Coding Specialist will ensure high-quality coding services for outpatient ancillary encounters while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Review and assign ICD-10-CM diagnoses for various outpatient ancillary services according to Official Coding Guidelines
- Meet or exceed quality and productivity standards to deliver exceptional coding services
- Collaborate with outpatient coders and managers to address client needs and maintain coding expertise through continuing education
Required qualifications
- Current CCS, RHIA, RHIT, or CPC coding credentials
- 3 or more years of relevant facility coding experience
- Access to reliable high-speed internet and workstation
- Epic experience is a plus
- Candidates must reside within the United States
