Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coding Specialist - Medicare.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze medical records and charts to evaluate provider coding and report data to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS)
• Ensure compliance with the CMS Hierarchical Condition Category (HCC) payment methodology
• Maintain professional relationships with medical providers for onsite review of medical records

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 3+ years of experience in a related field
• Certified Professional Coder
• Experience with Medicare billing, auditing, and coding is preferred
