Certified Coding Supervisor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coding Supervisor to provide operational leadership for the coding team in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support coding staff, ensuring productivity, quality, and compliance
• Monitor performance metrics and address staffing or compliance issues as needed
• Oversee daily coding operations and implement process improvements in collaboration with management

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional coding experience in inpatient and/or outpatient settings
• Active coding credential (RHIA, RHIT, CCS, or CPC)
• Prior experience in a formal supervisory role is preferred
• Strong knowledge of coding regulations and audit processes
• Associates degree in Health Information Management or higher is preferred
