Certified Coding Supervisor

Job Summary

Providing supervisory oversight to the Coding Team, the full-time Certified Coding Supervisor will empower and mentor staff while ensuring timely and accurate coding of medical records in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor team members, providing support and training to ensure compliance with coding standards
• Evaluate and adjust workflow to maintain efficiency and accuracy in coding processes
• Review coding audits and provide feedback to team members to enhance performance and adherence to guidelines

Required qualifications

• National coding certification required, preferably CPC and/or RCC
• Thorough knowledge of radiology coding, with interventional radiology coding preferred
• High school diploma and proficient computer skills, including knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT codes
• Experience in coaching and fostering team-oriented environments is highly desired
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with superior customer service abilities
