Certified Coding Supervisor

Job Summary

To ensure efficient operations and productivity, the full-time Certified Coding Supervisor will organize and coordinate the daily activities of the coding team, monitor coding accuracy, and perform direct coding for various client specialties in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee coding specialists, manage workloads, and ensure compliance with coding accuracy and productivity standards
• Perform direct coding and abstract clinical information while maintaining knowledge of coding regulations and guidelines
• Conduct staff training, mentoring, and educational sessions to enhance team performance and coding practices

Required qualifications:

• Five years of medical coding experience required; ten years preferred
• Certified Coder credential (CPC or COC) is mandatory
• Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred
• Current knowledge of hospital outpatient coding and professional coding
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong analytical abilities
