Job Summary

A company is looking for an Outpatient Project Team Lead.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a team of medical coders and ensure workflow, productivity, and quality standards are met
• Conduct coding audits and provide supplemental training to maintain high accuracy levels
• Interface with client personnel to ensure high levels of client satisfaction and contract performance

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of direct supervisory experience within the last 3 years
• Experience coding VA Outpatient encounters and conducting coding audits
• Knowledge of E/M, CPT, DX, ICD-10 coding standards and guidelines
• Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), or Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification required
• Preferred associate's degree in health information management or a related field
