Certified Coding Training Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coding Training Specialist, Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist coders and QAs by providing feedback and answering questions
• Identify key areas of training through feedback from the coding team and QAs
• Update training materials and assist with coder/QA remediation

Required Qualifications

• Certified Coder with either AAPC or AHIMA (Minimum 5 years)
• Minimum of 3 years in Risk Adjustment Coding
• Minimum of 2 years in coder-based auditing work
• Minimum of 2 years providing direct feedback to coders
• Advanced knowledge of ICD-10-CM and coding guidelines
