Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coding Validator Telecommute.

Key Responsibilities

• Audit professional ambulatory medical records to ensure accurate coding support
• Stay updated on coding guidelines, compliance policies, and industry changes
• Identify and report coding/documentation trends that may risk revenue and recommend improvements

Required Qualifications

• Successful completion of a coding certification program (CPC)
• Five years of coding experience, preferably in a large, academic multispecialty organization
• Understanding of medical records, medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
• Past auditing experience or a strong background in coding is preferred
• Computer literate with the ability to navigate electronic medical records
