Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coding Validator Telecommute.

Key Responsibilities

• Audit professional ambulatory medical records to ensure accurate coding support
• Review and record outcomes of diagnoses and procedures assigned by coders and providers
• Identify coding/documentation trends and recommend improvements to minimize compliance risk

Required Qualifications

• Successful completion of a coding certification program (CPC)
• Five years of coding experience, preferably in a large, academic multispecialty organization
• Understanding of medical records and clinical documentation relevant for coding
• Trained in medical terminology, medical science, anatomy, and physiology
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other computer applications
