Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coding Validator Telecommute.

Key Responsibilities

• Audit professional ambulatory medical records to ensure accuracy of billed codes
• Stay updated on coding guidelines and industry changes, applying knowledge to daily tasks
• Identify and report coding/documentation trends that may impact compliance and revenue

Required Qualifications

• Successful completion of a coding certification program (CPC)
• Five years of coding experience, preferably in a large, academic multispecialty organization
• Understanding of medical records content and clinical documentation relevant for coding
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other computer applications
• Ability to navigate electronic medical records and research regulatory requirements
