Job Summary
To support compliance initiatives, the full-time Certified Compliance Analyst will conduct clinical chart reviews, risk adjustment audits, and coding analysis while working remotely from specified states.
Key responsibilities
- Independently conduct medical record audits and apply coding guidelines and regulations
- Analyze coding trends and perform root cause analysis to develop corrective action plans
- Provide education and training to providers and coding staff on documentation improvement and compliance standards
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED (Required)
- 3-4 years of experience in Commercial and Government Billing/Coding/Collections (Required)
- 1 year of experience in Medical Record Reviews (Required)
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Outpatient Coder (COC) from AAPC (Required)
- Certified Professional Medical Auditor (CPMA) or another AAPC recognized credential (Required)
