Certified Customs Specialist

Job Summary

To support client service teams in the dynamic field of international trade, the full-time remote Client Import Analyst will manage client relationships, ensure compliance with customs regulations, and maintain accurate tariff databases while facilitating the release and entry summary processes.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and carriers, providing daily support and ensuring compliance with customs requirements
• Create and maintain the client tariff database, ensuring accuracy for efficient processing and compliance with quality standards
• Conduct audits and verify documentation to ensure accurate release and rating of shipments for assigned clients

Required qualifications

• 3 years of related experience in customs brokerage or international trade
• High School diploma/GED or equivalent; Associate's Degree or post-secondary education preferred
• Working towards or successful completion of the Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) designation is required
• Strong knowledge of customs regulations and tariff classifications
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
