Job Summary
To support client service teams in the international trade sector, the full-time Certified Customs Specialist Analyst will manage client relationships, ensure compliance with customs regulations, and maintain accurate tariff databases while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and carriers, providing daily support and ensuring compliance with customs requirements
- Create and manage the client tariff database, ensuring accuracy and adherence to service standards for timely release and rating of shipments
- Conduct internal audits and assist in compiling performance statistics to enhance service delivery and operational productivity
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience in customs brokerage or international trade
- High School diploma/GED or equivalent; an Associate's Degree or post-secondary education is preferred
- Working towards or completion of the Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) designation is required
- Strong knowledge of customs regulations and tariff classification
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
