Certified Diabetes Educator
Job Summary
To support patient education initiatives, the full-time Certified Diabetes Educator will provide guidance on diabetes management and treatment resources through virtual interactions, while working remotely from a dedicated home workspace.
Key responsibilities:
- Engage in one-on-one communications with enrolled patients via telephone, video, email, and SMS to educate them about diabetes management
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to program guidelines while providing educational support
- Demonstrate effective time management and organizational skills to prioritize key projects and deadlines
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and/or BSN
- 3+ years of experience as a Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) or Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES)
- Comprehensive understanding of diabetes care principles and practices
