Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coder DRG Auditor I.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize coding guidelines to perform DRG validation and validate medical records
• Apply policies and regulations developed by CMS and commercial payers
• Provide appeal responses for claims and assist with new concept development

Required Qualifications

• Coding certification in good standing (e.g., CCS, CPC, CIC)
• Coding validation/auditing experience
• Experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
• Ability to effectively prioritize tasks
• Continuing education requirements must be maintained
