Certified DRG Auditor

Job Summary

Auditing inpatient cases for DRG validation, the full-time Certified DRG Auditor will review medical records using proprietary software and client EMR systems while providing recommendations and supporting evidence, all in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Review inpatient medical records for validation of DRG assignment
• Provide detailed rationale and supporting evidence for audit findings
• Utilize industry-recognized references to support review findings

Required qualifications

• Current AHIMA credentials of RHIA, RHIT, and/or CCS
• 3+ years of ICD-10 auditing and DRG reimbursement experience
• Recent acute inpatient auditing experience
