Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coder ER.

Key Responsibilities

• Review medical records and perform coding on diagnoses, procedures, and charge codes
• Assign correct principal and secondary diagnoses and procedure codes, ensuring accurate sequencing
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and track productivity levels

Required Qualifications

• Successful completion of an AAPC or AHIMA-approved Coding Certificate Program
• A minimum of two to four years of current production coding experience in acute care and profee
• Certifications such as CPC, COC, CIC, RHIA, RHIT, CCS, and/or CCS-P
• Experience with Epic and 3M 360 CAC
• Well-versed in Injection and Infusion coding and ICD-10-CM and CPT coding guidelines
