Certified ED Coding Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Outpatient Facility ED Coding Specialist who will provide coding services for Facility ED Charts.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide CPT and Diagnosis codes for Facility ED Charts
• Accurately apply ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, CPT, and HCPCS codes
• Maintain compliance with coding guidelines and ethical standards

Required Qualifications

• Certified through AAPC (CPC or COC) or AHIMA (CCS or CCS-P)
• Minimum of 2 years of on-the-job coding experience
• Familiarity with EMR and billing systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
• Ability to maintain a productivity level and accuracy rate of 95% or higher
