Certified Epic HB Charging Analyst

Job Summary

To support and optimize hospital charging workflows, the remote contract Certified Epic HB Charging Analyst will manage Epic HB Charging processes, ensuring charge capture accuracy and compliance while collaborating with revenue cycle, clinical, and IT teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Support, maintain, and optimize Epic HB Charging workflows, including charge router and charge edits
• Act as a subject matter expert for charge capture and hospital billing lifecycle processes
• Collaborate with operational leaders to identify gaps in charging processes and implement improvements

Required Qualifications

• Epic HB Certification is required, with strong preference for Charging/Charge Router experience
• 4-6+ years of hands-on Epic HB experience focused on charging workflows
• Strong experience in hospital revenue cycle operations, including billing and claim generation
• Deep understanding of end-to-end revenue cycle processes, particularly charge capture and claim accuracy
• Proven experience with Epic system build and troubleshooting related to charging
