Certified Fraud Investigator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Fraud Investigator III to protect members and enhance fraud prevention efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and investigate complex fraud activities, including high dollar transactions and identity theft
• Manage multiple investigations, conducting thorough reviews and making decisions within compliance timeframes
• Identify emerging fraud trends and collaborate with law enforcement and external partners for loss recovery efforts

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work/educational experience
• 5 years of experience in fraud or financial crimes prevention, including 2 years in a fraud-specific customer service environment
• Certified Financial Crime Specialist (CFCS) or Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) required or to be obtained within 1 year of hire
• Experience in writing and filing Suspicious Activity Reports preferred
• Knowledge of Regulation E, Regulation CC, and Regulation UCC
