Certified Genetic Counselor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Genetic Counselor IV who will enhance the genetic counseling program through innovative practices and expert consultations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the genetic counseling program, integrating best practices and innovations
• Provide technical expertise as a Newborn Screening Specialist to support data evaluation and clinical interpretation
• Develop training resources and enhance communication strategies for stakeholder engagement

Required Qualifications

• Must have a Certified Genetic Counselor (CGC) certification from the American Board of Genetics Counseling (ABGC)
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred
• Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to obtain and maintain required customer clearance for access to systems and facilities
• Experience in developing training resources and collaboration initiatives
