Certified Health Information Analyst

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Certified Health Information Analyst II, the remote position will focus on accurately assigning ICD 10 CM/PCS codes and MS DRG/APR DRG groupings for inpatient encounters, ensuring compliance and timely completion to support quality reporting and reimbursement.

Key responsibilities

• Completing coding analysis for individual patient stays to ensure accurate diagnoses and procedures
• Providing relevant data for optimal financial reimbursement and accumulation of statistical data
• Performing related duties as assigned to support the coding team

Required qualifications

• Graduate from an associate or bachelor's degree program in health information or completion of a coding specialist program
• 3-5 years of experience in ICD-10/CPT coding
• Certification as CCA, CIC, COC, CCS, CPC, HCS, CEDC, CCS-P, RHIT, or RHIA
