Certified HIM Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a HIM Specialist, Certified to manage and ensure the integrity of medical records remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and analyze medical records to ensure completeness and integrity
• Respond to requests for medical information while adhering to departmental guidelines
• Coordinate the completion of patient medical records and secure any missing information

Required Qualifications

• Associate's degree from an accredited Health Information Technology/Management program
• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Current certification or eligibility for RHIT or RHIA certification
• Certification must be obtained within six months of hire if eligible
