Certified Home Health Coding Reviewer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a per diem basis, the Certified Home Health Coding Reviewer will accurately review clinical documentation, assign ICD-10 codes, and assess OASIS items while providing ongoing education and consultation to clients.

Key responsibilities:

• Timely and accurately review patient charts, including home health coding and OASIS assessments
• Communicate with clients to educate them on trends and ensure satisfaction through regular meetings
• Stay updated on ICD-10 coding and OASIS guidelines, maintaining required certifications and continuing education

Required qualifications:

• Certification in Home Health Coding required
• Certification in OASIS required
• Minimum of 5 years recent experience in Home Health coding and OASIS operations or quality
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, and compliance guidelines
