Certified Home Health Coding Reviewer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a per diem basis, the Certified Home Health Coding Reviewer will accurately review clinical documentation, assign ICD-10 codes, and assess OASIS items while providing ongoing education and consultation to clients.

Key responsibilities

• Timely and accurately review patient charts for home health coding and OASIS assessments
• Communicate with clients to educate them on trends and guidelines related to coding and OASIS
• Maintain professional knowledge through continuing education and participation in client meetings

Required qualifications

• Certification in Home Health Coding is required
• Certification in OASIS is required
• A minimum of 5 years of recent Home Health coding and OASIS operational and/or quality experience
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, and compliance guidelines
