Certified Home Health Coding Reviewer

Job Summary

To support the Healthcare group, a Per Diem Coding & OASIS Reviewer will work remotely to accurately review clinical documentation, assign ICD-10 codes, and assess OASIS items while providing ongoing education and consulting to clients.

Key responsibilities

• Review patient charts for home health coding and OASIS assessments, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Communicate with clients to educate them on trends and guidelines related to coding and OASIS conventions
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ICD-10 coding and OASIS guidelines through continuing education and professional development

Required qualifications

• Certification in Home Health Coding is required
• Certification in OASIS is required
• Minimum of 5 years of recent experience in Home Health coding and OASIS operations or quality
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and compliance guidelines
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks while working remotely
