Job Summary

A company is looking for a Hospital Coding Liaison.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate coding through chart reviews and problem account resolution
• Maintain coding quality by assigning appropriate codes and providing education
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to identify trends and assist in coding compliance

Required Qualifications

• Associate's or bachelor's degree in Health Information Management or completion of a coding certificate program
• Thorough knowledge of official coding guidelines (AMA, AHA, CMS)
• One of the following certifications: CCS, RHIA, RHIT, CPC, or COC
• Seven years of relevant hospital coding experience, with one year of teaching experience preferred
• Advanced knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
