Job Summary

Serving as the senior technical expert for PACS/RIS and related imaging systems, the part-time Certified Imaging Informatics Professional will manage advanced troubleshooting, system configuration, and clinical imaging workflows in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee technical support for PACS/RIS systems across multiple radiology sites, ensuring high uptime and service level objectives
• Manage system integrations, database maintenance, and performance tuning while facilitating requirements gathering with clinical stakeholders
• Lead PACS system selection initiatives, including vendor management and product roadmap development

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Radiology Technology, Health Informatics, Information Technology, or a related field
• CIIP (Certified Imaging Informatics Professional) certification required
• 7+ years of experience in PACS administration, preferably in multi-site environments
• Hands-on experience with enterprise PACS platforms and HL7 interface engines
• Experience with Vendor Neutral Archive (VNA) administration and radiology voice dictation systems
