Certified Information Systems Auditor

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Certified Information Systems Auditor, the EPIC Quality Auditor will work remotely to examine and analyze information systems operations, participate in audit planning and execution, and evaluate policies to ensure compliance and improve internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Review and validate professional fee billing accuracy within Epic Resolute PB to identify opportunities for improvement and assess risk
• Participate in audit planning and execution, performing audits of system automations and workflows to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Document and report audit findings to management, providing recommendations to strengthen controls and mitigate risks

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience plus 4 years of directly related work experience, or a master's degree plus 2 years of experience
• Current certification in AHIMA or AAPC, such as Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or equivalent
• Experience working in EPIC implementation or system support, including knowledge of coding and billing processes
• Strong knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10-CM, and related medical billing workflows
• Ability to work during UMB office hours, Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm Mountain Time
