Certified Inpatient Cardiology Coder

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Profee Inpatient Cardiology Coder (E/M & OBS).

Key Responsibilities

• Independently code Professional Fee Inpatient Cardiology, including E/M, Observations, and bedside procedures
• Accurately apply diagnosis and procedure codes utilizing ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, CPT, and HCPCS
• Maintain compliance with coding guidelines and participate in ongoing training and education

Required Qualifications

• Certification through AAPC (CPC or COC) or AHIMA (CCS or CCS-P)
• At least 1 year of experience coding IP Profee Cardiology
• Experience with E/M, Observations, and bedside procedures coding
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
• Knowledge of EMR and billing systems
