Job Summary

A company is looking for an Inpatient Coding Specialist (Coder III) - Fully Remote.

Key Responsibilities

Review medical records for accurate coding of diagnoses and procedures
Communicate with providers regarding missing documentation to ensure proper coding
Participate in audits and review denial reports to maintain coding accuracy

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), Certified Inpatient Coder (CIC), Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT)
Three (3) years of ICD-10-CM and PCS coding experience
Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
