Job Summary

A company is looking for an Inpatient Senior Coder.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret medical records to ensure accurate coding of diagnoses and procedures
• Utilize coding guidelines and resources to assign appropriate codes and ensure compliance with regulations
• Assist in educating clinicians on proper documentation practices and maintain coding skills through ongoing education

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 3 - 5 years of technical experience required
• Certification as a CCS, CPC, CCSP, CIC, COC, RHIA, or RHIT is required
• Inpatient facility coding experience preferred
