Job Summary

A company is looking for an Inpatient Auditor and Educator.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive audits of inpatient facility coding for accuracy and compliance
  • Develop and deliver education for inpatient facility coders and provide feedback based on audit findings
  • Support continuous improvement through data analysis and collaboration with stakeholders
Required Qualifications
  • Active coding credential: RHIA, RHIT, CCS (required)
  • Minimum 3 years of inpatient facility auditing experience with at least 2 years in coding education
  • Expert knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS, MS-DRGs, and POA indicators
  • Strong understanding of CMS regulations and compliance standards
  • Experience working with or supporting global or remote coding teams
