Certified Inpatient Coding Consultant

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Certified Inpatient Coding Consultant will manage training materials, coordinate educational sessions, and provide expertise in clinical documentation integrity and coding compliance to both customers and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain training resources for the Visit Integrity training program
• Coordinate and host monthly educational sessions, including scheduling topics and editing presentations
• Impart knowledge in CDI, inpatient coding, and related methodologies to customers and team members

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher with eight years of clinical coding or acute care CDI experience, or a High School Diploma/GED with eleven years of experience
• RHIA, RHIT with CCS certification or valid RN license with a minimum of five years acute care experience
• At least five years of CDI experience
• A minimum of two years of coding experience
