Job Summary

A company is looking for an Inpatient Coding Specialist (Coding Certification Required) - REMOTE.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze electronic medical records to assign ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS codes
• Collaborate with the CDIS team for documentation clarification and optimal coding
• Ensure proper DRG assignments and compliance with coding guidelines and regulations

Required Qualifications

• Coding certification from AHIMA or AAPC
• 5 years of relevant work experience
• High School Diploma or GED
• Expertise in medical coding and terminology
• Advanced understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements
