Certified Kubernetes Engineer
Job Summary
To support the Space Systems Command, the fully remote Principal Kubernetes Engineer will design, build, and evolve secure platform solutions that enhance software delivery, focusing on engineering platform capabilities for mission-critical applications in a hybrid cloud environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate enterprise Kubernetes platforms for secure hybrid cloud and on-premises environments
- Architect scalable and resilient platform services to enable secure software delivery across multiple mission environments
- Implement Infrastructure as Code and automation practices to improve platform consistency, reliability, and operational efficiency
Required qualifications
- Active Secret clearance at the time of application
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Minimum 6 years of experience designing, building, and operating production Kubernetes platforms
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
- Current CompTIA Security+ certification or equivalent Information Assurance certification
