Job Summary

To support financial operations remotely, the contract Financial Planning & Analysis Representative will lead budgeting processes, perform variance analysis, and manage month-end close activities while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, collaborating with department heads to set financial targets
• Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting principles
• Act as the primary liaison for external auditors, preparing necessary documentation for audits and ensuring compliance with regulations

Required qualifications

• Active U.S. Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation is highly preferred/required
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting operations and financial analysis
• Deep expertise in full-cycle bookkeeping and general ledger management
• Strong proficiency in budget development, variance analysis, and financial modeling
• Experience managing month-end close procedures and preparing financial statements
